STUDENT AWARDS

Awards will be given to two outstanding student papers. Each prize is a $500 cash award. These awards are sponsored by the Winslow's family and Lord Corporation for the best student research papers in ER fluids and MR suspensions, respectively.

The applicants should submit the three following items by March 31, 2006, to be considered for the award:

  • An extended abstract of no more than three pages including figures, tables, etc.
  • A letter to prove that the applicant is a current student.
  • A resume

Please use the same format as given for the abstract in this website under publications.

All materials must be submitted electronically to ERMR2006@engr.unr.edu. The extended abstract will be reviewed by a scientific committee, and the winners will be announced during the conference.
